RAF Lakenheath pumping main was 1.1 km of main across the base. A very complicated job as we crossed in excess of 100 services which were not marked on any drawings. The project was completed on budget and to programme causing minimum disruption to the base.

• RAF Wattisham was a redevelopment of an old part of the base, converting hangars into new useable office space.
• The site involved installing somewhere in the region of 20km of ducting and 9km of drainage, as well as foundations for extensions to existing buildings, car parks and landscaping.
• This job was a flagship job for us, which involved considerable value engineering and redesign by our engineers.
• Completed in 2011.

The small bomb storage facility was a concrete structure cast in situ. We fabricated the formwork and false work on site for the wing walls and parapet beams and fixed all the reinforcement. We also carried out all the associated landscaping and finished the project on time and on budget.

Vaults maintenance was a high profile project working alongside the live run way. We had to break out 2500m2 of concrete and reinstate it with limestone pavement quality concrete poured in 156 bays. We successfully devised and implemented a traffic plan causing minimum disruption to day to day operations on the base.
